The Microbrew Page

We like beer. We have a constantly revolving selection of microbrews in the refrigerator; six flavors or more at any given time. The tops of our kitchen cabinets are covered with an array of collected 22 ounce beer bottles of every beer in that size of bottle we've ever tried, carefully staggered for space and design. We don't have room for the 16 ounce bottle, so it is currently stored in the basement in boxes. We're trying to think of creative ways to display those in the future. How about a sunroom lined with beer bottles...?

Check out our ongoing list of bottles we've collected. Since we save a bottle from every flavor we drink, this is a virtually complete list of microbrews available to us in Fort Collins. This is excepting most wheat beers and most flavored beers, as we generally don't like either, but you will see there are exceptions. These are our

In Colorado, we have more microbrews to choose from than we can count (although we're always trying). There are several in Fort Collins, all quite good. Many breweries and flavors aren't represented by our bottle collection, as some microbrews don't bottle all of their beers, so stay tuned for our listing of pub microbrews and beers you can only buy at the source, by the pint glass, gallon bottle, or keg.

Since we moved here from Kalamazoo, Michigan, we have a loyalty to Bell's beer of Kalamazoo. If you get a chance, try an Expedition Stout, Amber, or Oberon (formerly Solsun). Then there's my personal favorite, Double Cream Stout, and a (relatively) new flavor, Two-Hearted Ale. Try any of their beers: you're not likely to be disappointed.
